A slider is anaccessory that is an integral part of the zipper. Without it, not a single zip will be able to function and will only play a decorative role.<\/p>\n

Manufacturing of sliders<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Molniya factory produces sliders using its own die-casting facilities and high quality Zamak from trusted suppliers. Thanks to high-quality material and well-functioning work, our sliders are durable and meet all standards.<\/p>\n

Depending on the locking type, the slider may have different elements inside. Main parts: body, cap and puller. If it\u2019s auto-lock slider, then a locking pin (\u201cmonkey\u201d) and a spring are added.<\/p>\n

Types and features of sliders<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Both zippers and sliders can be of different types. There are sliders for spiral and plastic zippers, as well as for invisible and metal fasteners.<\/p>\n

The sliders are also divided according to the type of lock. So it can be:<\/p>\n

  • with automatic\/semi-automatic lock;<\/li>\n
  • with mechanical lock (pin-lock);<\/li>\n
  • or non-lockn at all.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The shape of the puller can be very diverse. It must be chosen depending on which product the zipper will be sewn on. So, for bags, a popular non-lock slider is chosen, for clothes manufacturers can select pullers based on design, for mattresses and bed linen, sliders with a small puller or without it are preferable.<\/p>\n

    In Molniya, for the most demanding, we offer an individual shape of a puller and your brand logo on it. The logo can be applied using a die-casting mold or laser.<\/p>\n

    If we talk about the color of the slider,\u00a0 customers often choose it to match the zipper. But shoe manufacturers prefer sliders with galvanic nickel plating: dark, light, shiny or gold. In our company you can choose various shades of color for the sliders.<\/p>\n

    How to choose a slider for a zipper?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    When choosing a slider, you need to understand that a certain type of slider is suitable for a certain type of zipper, since it has a different shape for a spiral, plastic or metal zipper. We recommend you always choose the “native” slider to the zipper. In this case, there will be no problems during the operation of the product.<\/p>\n

    Each slider has its own size, which corresponds to the width of the zipper links when closed. So, the slider with the number 6.22 is suitable for the T6 spiral zipper manufactured by Molniya, where the width of the closed coil is 6mm.<\/p>\n
